Mental Health Week is a dedicated time to prioritize and promote mental well-being. Each year, the first full week of May serves as a crucial reminder of the importance of mental health in our lives and aims to break down the stigma surrounding mental illness.
Throughout the week of May 6 – 12th, WE will be offering a variety of activities to enhance the mental well-being of our community.
- Monday 6 – Meditation and Mini Facial in partnership with Lifelong Learning
- Monday 6 – Talk for Youth by Youth in partnership with Jack.org

- Wednesday 8 – Park Chill-out in partnership with Voice of English-speaking Québec
- Thursday 9 – Mindfulness
- Saturday 11 – Yoga
- Sunday 12 – Buddy Up: Basketball

This year’s Canadian Mental Health Association’s Mental Health Week is centered on the healing power of compassion. In a world plagued by suffering, we emphasize that kindness is equally intrinsic to our humanity. We all have the capacity to be compassionate, and we know that doing so can make an enormous difference. From May 6 to 12, 2024, let’s explore how compassion connects us all.
